2025 ends and goes down in history: this year in Orel in the fall there was a meeting of the RRC-2025 international Russian Robinson Club, which was attended by over 100 club members in the topic of polar, island and sea radio communications.

Traditionally, annual results were summed up in various RRC nominations — among the island radio expeditions in Russia and in the world, in other RRC nominations, the best Robinsons for 2024-2025 were named.

From RRC-HQ Sergey RA3NAN/M0MSV, Evgeny RZ3EC, Andrey RZ3EM, Igor UA3EDQ and Yuri UA9OBA held a solemn award ceremony for the winners of the club members:

RI0CR (consisting of R3BY, R5EM, RU3EG, RU5D, RW3XA, RZ3EC, UA3EDQ) on Ustrichnyy (Oyster) Island AS-114 was recognized as the best Russian radio expedition under the Islands on the Air (IOTA) program. The same expedition was the first in the nomination for the RRA program (in the Asian part of the Russian Federation), for the first time activating the new island of RR-14-12. In the European part of Russia, UA1ATD/p has held the first place in RRA for many years — this time there were activities from 13 islands, 3 of which are NEW ONE. In the RLHA nomination the RI1E team won (consisting of R7AA and RA1ALA). In the RFFA nomination, the first place was taken by the RA8CP/p expedition (consisting of RU9CK and RV9CX) to the Volgo-Akhtuba natural park.

Among the international IOTA expeditions (flying the RRC flag and/or with the participation of club members), the best was the C93RRC/C94RRC (consisting of R7AL, OK8AU, UA3QLC) to the islands of Mozambique — Chiloane, AF-098 and Inhacamba, AF-103. In the main nomination «Robinson of the Year» was Vyacheslav Rodin OK8AU. Well deserved reward! Among women, «YL-Robinson of the Year» again became Tatyana Ostankova RL1I. In the past year, despite the complicated logistics, many interesting expeditions took place — to uninhabited islands and to distant countries, to tourist and inaccessible places on our planet. On behalf of RRC-HQ, I want to thank all our friends and assistants who provide sponsorship to the club and expeditions flying the RRC flag. Your support is very important! Thank you, friends!

Cooperation continues with the Union of Radio Amateurs of Russia (TNX RN3RQ), with the international IOTA Committee (TNX G3KMA, VE3LYC), with the Russian Geographical Society (TNX RA3III), Russian Contest Club (TNX R2AA&Co.) and others.

Now RRC unites over 1200 radio amateurs interested in polar, island and sea radio communications from 67 countries of the world. At the Conference, a presentation of club Certificates of a new form took place, which are awarded to both new and current RRC members who met requirements. Also presented are new wall posters — RRC certificates (TNX to Oleg Latyshev UA6GG).

The club is growing with new RRC members. In 2025, among them: R1BIG, R2BBX, R4RD, R8OA, R9OOF, RD9U UA4HAM, UB9OFY. Welcome to Russian Robinson Club!
